How to Start an AI Product Design Agency

- Coming soon

- 4 agents

- Files leave
- Only after you approve
An AI product design agency turns a written brief into the files for a physical product. It is coming soon. When it ships, you approve every mesh, still and drawing before it leaves the studio.
What is an AI product design agency?
It is a ready-made naïve company, coming soon. One deploy will set up an agent team and your agency dashboard with a review queue. The Studio screen in your agency dashboard will show each mesh, still and part waiting on you.
The team will split the work four ways:
- Account manager. Writes the studio note from your four answers, reads every brief against it, and routes it as a look or a part.
- Designer. Turns a brief into a look: one textured mesh. A look has no units.
- Engineer. Builds dimensioned parts in code when the brief names millimetres, and files them only once the checks pass.
- Visualizer. Makes one studio still per look, and a short product video only when the brief asks.
Three studios it could run:
- Home goods. Carafes, lamps, vessels and small furniture, shown as looks before anyone cuts a mould.
- Desk products. Tools and accessories with a named size, where a part has to fit a real object.
- Packaging concepts. A bottle, a lid or a box as a look, with the drawing done later from named dimensions.
Set it up in four steps
1Deploy the template
Deploy opens when it ships. Until then, the button on this page says coming soon. You can make your naïve account today.
2Answer four questions
The first task writes a studio note. Nothing is modelled before it exists.
- Products. What physical products this studio designs.
- Clients. Who the work is for.
- What must be real. Materials, sizes, and which features are looks only.
- Done. A concept mesh, studio stills, dimensioned parts, or a short video.
What does done mean for a typical brief?
The agents will read this before every brief, so they stop at the file you actually want.
- A concept mesh and one studio still
- Studio stills of a supplied model
- Dimensioned parts, with the sizes in the brief
- A short product video after the model exists
3Agents make the files the brief allows
On a look, the designer will generate a mesh and the visualizer will make one studio still. On a part, the engineer will build it from the named sizes and read the checks. A video is started only when the brief asks for one.
Two briefs, run as looks. Each one is the prompt that went in, then the still and the mesh that came back. A mesh from a prompt has no units.
Pour-over carafe. Mesh prompt: "A matte sand-colored ceramic pour-over coffee carafe, about 900 millilitres, wide stable base, thin pouring spout, a separate walnut lid, smooth stoneware, no logo, no text, no label." Still prompt: "Studio product photo of a matte sand ceramic pour-over coffee carafe with a walnut lid on a seamless light grey background, soft shadow, three-quarter view, no text, no logo, no watermark."

Desk lamp. Mesh prompt: "A small machined aluminum desk lamp with a cylindrical shade, a two-part articulated arm, and a round weighted base, brushed metal, no brand mark, no text, no cable clutter." Still prompt: "Studio product photo of a brushed aluminum desk lamp with a cylindrical shade and an articulated arm on a seamless light grey background, soft shadow, three-quarter view, no text, no logo, no watermark."

4Approve before a file leaves
Each mesh, still and drawing will wait with the brief attached. Read it, then allow or hold. A generated mesh is labelled as a look. A dimensioned part is labelled with the checks. Nothing is sent to a client or a manufacturer before you allow it.

What should an AI product design agency design?
One clear kind of product for one kind of client. Ten that work:
- Tabletop goods. Carafes, cups and small vessels, shown as looks.
- Lighting. Desk lamps and shades, with the arm and the base as separate looks.
- Kitchen tools. A handle, a lid or a spout, once the brief names the sizes.
- Packaging looks. A bottle or a box before a drawing exists.
- Desk accessories. Trays and stands that have to match a named object.
- Enclosures. A case for a board, built in code from the board's millimetres.
- Replacement parts. A bracket or a cap, with every dimension written down first.
- Furniture studies. A stool or a shelf as a look, with joinery drawn later.
- Colour and material studies. The same form in two finishes, stills only.
- Launch stills. A grey-background photo of a model the client already has.
Can an AI product design agency make money?
It can, but the work is sold as files and judgment, not as a finished factory run.
| Model | How it earns | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Brief fee | A set fee for one product, from the note to the approved files. | You must say what done means before you start. |
| Monthly retainer | A set fee for a studio that keeps designing. | Quiet months still have to be worth the fee. |
| Revision packs | A price for a fixed number of extra looks. | Easy to compare, easy to undercut. |
naïve does not find clients for you. The team will design the products you bring. Winning the work is yours. A mesh is never sold as a drawing, and a drawing is never sent out without your approval.
What does your first week look like?
- Day 1. When it ships, deploy and answer the four questions. If you have no client yet, run the carafe brief or the lamp brief.
- Each brief. Open the queue. Read the mesh and the still. Allow the ones that match the note.
- Day 7. Read what was held. Tighten the note where the looks drifted.

- 01
What physical products does this studio design?
The account manager writes it into the studio note on day one, and the designer's first look is one of these.
Kitchen and desk objects: carafes, lamps, small brackets.
- 02
Who is the work for?
The account manager reads every brief against it; the visualizer styles stills for these buyers.
Independent homeware brands.
- 03
Which materials, sizes and features must be manufacturable, and which are looks only?
Decides which seat a brief goes to: the engineer builds parts to millimetres, the designer makes looks with no units.
Brackets and mounts to millimetre tolerances; carafes and lamps are looks only.
- 04
What does done mean for a typical brief — a concept mesh, studio renders, dimensioned parts, or a short product video?
The account manager writes it into the studio note; the visualizer makes a product video only when this or the brief asks.
A concept mesh and one studio still; a dimensioned part when the brief gives millimetres.

Questions
Can I deploy the product design agency today?
Not yet. The template is coming soon, and the Deploy button on this page says so until it ships. This guide describes what it will do, and shows two looks made from the briefs below.
Is a generated mesh ready to manufacture?
No. A mesh made from a description has no units and no tolerances. It is a look. A part that must fit is built in code from named millimetre dimensions, and only when the brief asks for that.
Will the team send files to a manufacturer on its own?
No. Every mesh, still, drawing and video waits for your approval. Nothing is ordered and nothing is sent out before that.
What does a finished brief look like?
The studio note says what done means. For a look, that is a textured mesh and one studio still. For a part, that is a checked solid. A video is made only when the brief asks for one.
