# MCP sessions

> Mint, inspect, and immediately revoke bounded MCP credentials.

The `mcp` group is the operator interface to [MCP sessions](https://vetta.sh/docs/api/mcp-sessions.md). All commands
require an API key with `admin` scope.

```bash theme={"system"}
vetta mcp create \
  --name release-agent \
  --scopes agents:read,sessions:write \
  --tools agents_list,sessions_create \
  --expires-in 3600
```

Add `--identity idn_...` to label the session with a persona (recorded, not enforced yet). The create reply prints the bearer once;
store it immediately.

```bash theme={"system"}
vetta mcp list --limit 20
vetta mcp show mcs_...
vetta mcp revoke mcs_...
```

`list` and `show` return only metadata and the non-sensitive prefix. `revoke` is one-way and is
enforced on the credential's next request.
