# Top Up Card

> Add funds to an existing card via checkout

Creates a hosted checkout session to add funds to an existing card. The card balance is updated after successful payment.

### Request Body

| `amount_cents` | number | Yes      | Amount to add in cents (minimum 100 = \$1.00) |

  **May require approval.** If the user's Account Kit gates cards, an agent
  (API-key) call (`cards.topup`) returns
  `202 { "status": "pending_approval", "approval_id" }`. A human approves it via
